ADI Cryptocurrency Summit Brings Mining to New York City
The ADI Cryptocurrency Summit is a mining conference in New York, starting on May 18, 2018. At the Summit, members of the mining community will gather and discuss important topics affecting the blockchain industry, as well as see brand new equipment unveiled by the conference’s vendors.
Bitsonline got the chance to sit down with Emma Todd, CEO of the MMH Blockchain Group, a marketing firm helping organize and host the conference.
In our interview, Todd told Bitsonline, about her expectations for the conference, and what attendees will see while at the event.
Evan Faggart: What do you hope to accomplish from this conference?
Emma Todd: I want people to leave the conference understanding how to set up a mining conference as well as gain knowledge regarding who they can reach out to if they have specific questions regarding their mining operation.
EF: What do you think will be the major topics of discussion at the conference beyond the scheduled presentations, based on the current state of the industry and community?
ET: It’s difficult to say I think Proof of Work vs. Proof of Stake will be a hot topic as well as what is the latest in mining equipment that can be used.
EF: Will the conference be open to discussions about scalability?
ET: Yes it will be. All topics will be entertained.
EF: Are there any announcements coming from conference sponsors and/or exhibitors that the community should get excited about?
ET: A few of the speakers are launching new products so there will be lots for everyone to review and get excited about. We will also have a networking session after the conference, so people will be able to socialize with other mining enthusiasts or mining professionals and ask them questions. It’s going to be a great conference, a lot of people are interested in this conference!
