The Future of Bitcoin 2017 Series: Panel Discussion

Where is Bitcoin heading? What will this technology look like as it continues to progress, and what do we have to do to ensure its success? That’s what a five-person panel of Bitcoin experts and influencers discussed during The Future of Bitcoin conference in Arnhem, Netherlands.

Bitcoin: What Does the Future Hold?

Serving as the finale to the main, two-day event, this panel discussion featured five industry participants, all of whom are either influencers, technical experts or entrepreneurs in the space. Each of these people brought different skills, experiences and perspectives to the table. The participants are as follows:

  • Ryan X. Charles, Yours CEO
  • Andrew Clifford, Bitcoin Unlimited president
  • Jon Matonis, vice president of corporate strategy, nChain
  • Tom Zander, software developer, Bitcoin Classic
  • Lennard Mulder, Head of business development, Bitcoin Vietnam

In this hour-long discussion, the five participants shared their views and visions for Bitcoin. As the bookend to the conference, the main topic of the discussion centered around “The Future of Bitcoin” — where the technology will go as we move forward in its development.
