Cryptocurrency Acceptance Set to Accelerate
Classic Recreations announced on Twitter its acceptance of multiple cryptocurrencies. The company tweeted:

As reported by Digital Trends, Yukon-based custom car restorer Classic Recreations is apparently the first car fabricator to accept cryptocurrencies. The company will accept a number of cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, litecoin, ether, Bitcoin Cash, and surprisingly the not-so-widely known Docademic (MTC).
Classic Recreations have not partnered with any crypto payment service provider to help them facilitate the conversion of crypto to fiat. Per the company, interested customers can directly make payments to the company’s wallet.
Per the press release, owner of Classic Recreations Jason Engel divulged that the reason to espouse crypto was to connect to a worldwide consumer base:
“My entire life I have had a strong fascination for technology and its evolution. Cryptocurrencies have come a long way and continue to solidify themselves as a legitimate currency on the global market. The true beauty of accepting cryptocurrency is the universal aspect of it which allows Classic Recreations to connect with consumers from anywhere in the world.”
Crypto the Currency of Millennials
A recent CreditCoin-commissioned survey on the crypto landscape in the United States indicated that over 26 million Americans have already plunged into crypto. Millennials make up a significant percentage of crypto owners and spenders. Classic Recreations wants to attract those young enthusiasts, no doubt hoping to court some newly minted crypto millionaires.
Bitcoin is only a decade old and, until recently, nobody thought it would be rivaling fiat currencies. Scores of retailers across the globe are opening up to cryptocurrencies either to serve a growing number of crypto enthusiasts or use it as a marketing tool to attract new clients.
At present, it is an option many businesses are opting for. A few years from now, accepting cryptocurrency may become indispensable, as bitcoin and fellow cryptocurrencies are rapidly becoming recognized payment methods.
